Twilight actress Anna Kendrick was supposed to play the lead role in 2011’s Bridesmaids (and was the original inspiration for the animated logo shown above), but was unable memorize her lines to director Paul Feig’s satisfaction. She was replaced by writer Kristen Wiig, despite Kendrick and Feig’s insistence that Wiig was “not likeable.”
